Bouquet Tips

* Always cut flower stems at an angle and remove any leaves that will be below the water line

* Prepare a clean vase of luke warm water with flower preservative^#

* Top up water regulary and change water every third day for maximum freshness and longevity

* Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, heat, draughts, fruit and direct airflow from air conditioners

* Store in a cool room

* Do not use metal containers to store flowers as this neutralizes the flower food

* Remove all spent and faded blooms as they occur

Arrangements

* Mix the preservative with water and pour into the vase or bowl supplied

* Never let the oasis floral foam dry out, simply top up with water daily

* Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, draughts etc as explained above

^#Handy hint: if you don't have any preservative try a teaspoon of sugar, lemon juice and aspirin (or bleach).  This will inhibit the growth of bacteria and also feed the flowers, which will keep them alive and beautiful for longer
